Another angel gets its wings! William Hill officially launched in Tennessee on March 11, 2021.
Users can test out the app and take advantage of big boosts and promos during opening weekend.
Tennesseans now have another option when it comes to March Madness betting as well.
Tennessee welcomes William Hill with open arms
Much of the Tennessee Education Lottery’s (TEL) last few months has been spent processing operator applications from Churchill Downs, William Hill and Wynn Interactive.
The TEL began approving William Hill back in November, and originally intended to approve all three operators during its December board meeting. Due to individual hang-ups with each brand, the launch timeline was extended.
The other two sportsbooks, TwinSpires and Wynn BET Tennessee, have yet to advance past the starting line.
William Hill, on the other hand, has finally made its Tennessee debut, and Volunteer State sports bettors are eager for the addition.
It becomes the fifth sportsbook operating in the state, alongside the other four books that opened their digital doors on launch day, Nov. 1, 2020:
William Hill boasts user-friendly app
Functionally, William Hill’s sportsbook is especially user-friendly. The site includes a search bar where you can search for bets based on a team or league. There is also a “more bets box” that will show you the number of bets still available to make on a team/league after you place your initial wager.
When it comes to betting markets, William Hill has everything under the sun, from the major sports leagues to smaller sports like darts and rugby.
To make the platform even more appealing, the operator is doling out sign-up bonuses and odds boosts throughout its debut weekend.

William Hill, an internationally-recognized brand
William Hill got its start in London back in 1934. In less than a century, the brand opened more than 2,000 brick-and-mortar locations throughout the UK. Now, it has established itself as the largest global betting brand.
William Hill expanded into the US in 2012 and currently has a presence in 11 states, as well as the District of Columbia.
Despite tough competition from fellow big-name brands like DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM, William Hill accredits itself as “America’s No. 1 Sportsbook.”
Ultimately, this international brand intends to expand into every jurisdiction where sports betting is legal.
Now it can officially add Tennessee to that list.
