FanDuel and Memphis Grizzlies’ first partnership
The multi-year deal marks the operator’s first partnership with an NBA team. FanDuel is the Grizzlies’ first sports betting partner and the team’s exclusive daily fantasy sports partner.
This is the state’s second sportsbook to collaborate with a professional league. BetMGM struck the first deal with the Tennessee Titans in September.
FanDuel is hungry to become the leading sportsbook for Grizzlies fans and all Tennesseans.
Enhanced fan engagement opportunities
The Grizzlies are a fan-focused team with some of the most enthusiastic supporters in the NBA. FanDuel delivers new ways to tap into that fanaticism through maximum fan engagement.
The sportsbook will market directly to Memphis fans via radio, television and digital campaigns. Additionally, FanDuel will put up signage around the FedExForum arena.
Maintaining their reputation for generosity, the operator is planning a range of roaring promotions and once-in-a-lifetime Grizzlies fan experiences.
Initial collaborations are already underway.
Mike Raffenspberger, CMO, FanDuel Group, said the following in the release:
“As we expand our market-leading sportsbook into Tennessee, partnering with the Grizzlies was a no-brainer given the team’s popularity and long-standing success, as well as their shared mindset of being absurdly fan-focused. We are incredibly excited to collaborate with the Grizzlies as we bring unique promotions, product innovation, and engaging online experiences to Grizzlies fans and Tennessee sports fans alike.”
Currently, new players can potentially receive a first bet of up to $1,000 when they sign up for FanDuel.
Fans should be on the hunt for other enticing Grizzlies promotions once the NBA season rolls around.
FanDuel has nestled into its Tennessee den and marked its territory with this Memphis partnership.
