BetMGM Sportsbook Tennessee and the Titans have officially struck the first deal in Tennessee between a sports betting platform and a professional sports team.

The partnership was announced via press release Monday afternoon. It comes only one month before sports betting is scheduled to go live in the state on Nov. 1.

Details of the BetMGM, Titans partnership

As part of the new partnership, BetMGM will receive notable brand visibility with the Titans across multiple digital platforms. Field goal attempts, video board replays, and major in-game moments will feature the name as well.

BetMGM will also be the exclusive naming rights partner of the Titans’ television studio at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

The studio hosts Titans All Access, the Coach Mike Vrabel Show, and more.

Moreover, BetMGM will sponsor a raffle for The Titans Foundation, which provides funds to community organizations throughout the state.

Gil Beverly, Titans sr. vice president, said Tennessee is thrilled to be partnering with the company. “BetMGM will deliver new experiences and levels of engagement to our fans and we’re excited to welcome them in as an official partner.”

BetMGM’s Chief Marketing Officer Matt Prevost had similarly shining remarks.

“The Titans are an incredible organization and we’re proud to have BetMGM as the team’s first official sports betting partner. This is truly a partnership between two great brands and we’re excited to introduce Titans fans to new ways to engage with their favorite football team.”

The organizations will continue to develop and substantiate their partnership over time.

SPORTFIVE, a sports and entertainment partnership agency, and Sportradar, a sports data and content service, are working in collaboration with the two as well.

Tennessee sports betting launches on Nov. 1

The Titans are staying one step ahead of the game by naming BetMGM as their first official sports betting partner.

BetMGM is one of the first three operators to receive a conditional license to offer online sports betting within the state of Tennessee. FanDuel and DraftKings are the other operators currently holding conditional licenses.

BetMGM’s mobile app launch will coincide with the state’s first day of legal sports betting on Nov. 1.

As of now, the BetMGM mobile app is currently operational in the following states:

  • Nevada
  • New Jersey
  • Colorado
  • West Virginia
  • Indiana

MGM Resorts International + GVC Holdings = BetMGM

BetMGM was founded in 2018. It stems from a joint venture between MGM Resorts International (MGM) and GVC Holdings (GVC).

The company combines GVC’s proprietary technology with exclusive access to MGM’s sports betting, online gaming, and major tournament poker audience.

GVC is a sports betting and gaming group that owns an array of brands in over 20 countries.

The following brands are under GVC’s umbrella:

  • Crystalbet
  • Eurobet
  • Sportingbet
  • CasinoClub
  • Foxy Bingo
  • partypoker
  • PartyCasino

MGM boasts state-of-the-art casinos, hotels, and live entertainment experiences. As a result, the S&P 500 company operates a variety of Las Vegas-inspired brands and destination resorts including Bellagio, MGM Grand, Park MGM and ARIA.

MGM’s reputation, along with its increased visibility from this latest partnership, could lead to BetMGM giving DraftKings and FanDuel a run for their money. We will find out in November.
