The Titans and Colts clash in the AFC South

Tennessee claimed the title of AFC South leader last week after winning 24-17 to the Chicago Bears. The Colts, on the other hand, dropped a spot after a 24-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Titans were originally one-point favorites going into tonight’s game, though the gap has since pivoted. DraftKings now has the team positioned as one-point underdogs.

Tennessee looks to extend their division domination

Tennessee is experiencing its best season start since 2008, the last time it claimed the AFC South title.

The Titans are currently ranked 4th in the AFC behind the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

Overall NFL rankings have Tennessee as the 8th seed.

The Titans have the 7th-best scoring record in the league, averaging 29 points per game.

Meanwhile, the Colts are 15th in the league, logging around 26 points per game.

The Titans rank last in the NFL on 3rd down defense. Luckily, this season’s Colts aren’t especially equipped on offense.

Tennessee will have a two-game lead over the division if the team manages a Thursday night victory.

Titans-Colts betting percentages

Current FanDuel trends suggest strong faith in Tennessee clinching the win. 85% of the book’s spread bets favor the Titans.

This is a substantial jump from last week, where 51% of spread bets and only 34% of moneyline bets endorsed the team.

This week’s trends more closely resemble Week 8. Roughly 81% of FanDuel’s moneyline bets were placed on the Titans, despite the team’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hopefully tonight’s outcome will prove better.

Sportsbook betting promotions

Sportsbooks have yet again served bettors with a formidable feast of promotions.

BetMGM has rolled out a brand new One Game Parlay feature and is giving players a free $5 bet to try it out. Until now, the only sportsbook with a same-game parlay option was FanDuel.

When it comes to new bettors, players can bet $1 to win $100 at BetMGM if either team scores a touchdown.

FanDuel has a long-standing same game parlay insurance that allows bettors to place a 3+ leg parlay of up to $25. The sportsbook will refund the bet as a site credit should one leg lose.

New FanDuel customers can bet $5 to win $125 on either side’s victory.

DraftKings has a TNF Primetime Prop for First Touchdown Scorer bets. Bets will be refunded as a site credit of up to $20 if a selected player fails to score first but scores at any point during the game.

Tennesseans can chow down on fresh betting options and heaping bonuses during this matchup.
