DraftKings daily fantasy feast

Daily fantasy players at DraftKings have plenty to be grateful for. Every player taking part in a paid DFS football contest on Thanksgiving day qualifies for a share of the $25 Million Thanksgiving Giveaway.

As the name suggests, DraftKings is giving away up to $25 million in DK Dollars, DFS Tickets and cash prizes. Current and new players alike can take part, though users must first become eligible by opting in.

You can sign up for the promotion here.

DFS Tickets and DK Dollars are awarded in increments of $3, $5, $20 and $100 for use on future DraftKings DFS contests. Cash prizes of $1,000 are also up for grabs.

Additionally, Thanksgiving Millionaire is debuting with a top prize of $1 million.

Entry is free for new users making a first-time deposit of $5 or more and is $20 for all other players.

All players in Thanksgiving Millionaire are automatically registered for the $25 Million Thanksgiving Giveaway.

DraftKings doubles down with a Thanksgiving day boost

As if the DFS giveaways weren’t enough, DraftKings is serving up a tasty plate of seconds with their Thanksgiving day betting special.

Odds for either team to score a touchdown during Thursday night’s Pittsburgh Steelers versus Baltimore Ravens game are boosted to +100.

Those that opt in for the promo have a chance to double their money. A maximum bet of $25, for instance, has a potential payout of $50.

That is, assuming Thursday night’s event is played as scheduled. The Ravens announced Monday that multiple team members have tested positive for COVID-19.

Baltimore received news of the positive results immediately after their Week 11 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Consequently, the fate of Tennessee’s schedule hangs in the balance.

In a press conference Monday afternoon, head coach Mike Vrabel noted the Titans have been following protocols appropriately. The league will determine a course of action according to Baltimore’s contact tracing results.

Players can look to a sportsbook’s individual policy to determine how wagers are handled in the event these games are postponed. Bets will either be refunded or honored for each game’s rescheduled date.

In the meantime, DraftKings has taken the cake with initial Thanksgiving Day promotions.

Fellow Tennessee sportsbooks are expected to release their own Turkey Day boosts as the week progresses.
