Betting On Game 2 Of The NBA Finals In Tennessee

Posted on July 7, 2021

The Phoenix Suns face off against the Milwaukee Bucks this Thursday in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

Tennessee online sportsbooks give the Suns the slight upper hand here, setting the spread at 5.5-points.

Phoenix currently leads the series 1-0.

Suns vs. Bucks Game 2 odds

During the two teams’ Game 1 matchup on Tuesday, July 6, the Suns were 5.5-point favorites as well.

A lot of that had to do with speculation that Giannis Antetokounmpo would be sitting out due to a knee injury. However, the team announced he would play just before tip-off.

The Bucks’ star player gave an impressive performance. He put up 20 points, had 17 rebounds, and didn’t seem to have any trouble getting around the court.

His strong effort just wasn’t enough to take home the victory.

The Suns beat the Bucks 118-105 in Game 1.

Phoenix has a marginal advantage over the Bucks in the second NBA Finals matchup of the series. The Suns boast a -210 moneyline at DraftKings TN, while the Bucks trail behind at +175.

The Suns enter Game 2 with another 5.5-point lead on the spread. In games this season where the Suns were a 5.5-point favorite or more, they have a 20-18-1 record against the spread.

Betting on the NBA Finals

Each Tennessee sportsbook offers a slightly different variety of NBA Finals betting options. In all, the opportunities are practically endless. If you can think of a bet you’re interested in placing on the game, chances are a Tennessee sportsbook has the option for you.

Prop betting

Of course, there are the traditional moneyline betting, totals, and point spread options. Then there are the more eccentric game props that allow for wagering on markets such as:

  • First team to X points
  • Winning margin
  • Odd or even final score

Player props open the wagering possibilities up even more. Bettors can wager on individual players in a number of ways including an athlete’s total number of:

  • Points
  • Rebounds
  • Assists
  • Steals
  • Three-pointers
  • Blocks
  • Turnovers

Series betting

If you want to look at more than just a single game or a single player, take a peek at series lines.

You can wager on the series winner, the correct series score, total number of games in the series, and the series spread.

Parlay betting

The unique single game parlay options offered by BetMGM Tennessee allow bettors to combine multiple Game 2 wagers into a single parlay. For instance, a bettor can wager on Giannis to log five assists during the game and combine it with a bet on Devin Booker to score 30 or more points to create a two-leg parlay with +275 odds.

Single game parlays are also available at DraftKings, though parlays are limited to two different two-leg markets:

  • Moneyline and total
  • Parlay and total

Futures betting

Finally, sportsbooks offer a team futures market where bettors can wager on the overall outcome of the NBA Finals. Going into Game 2, odds of Phoenix winning the overall NBA Title are -290 at FanDuel TN.

The Bucks and Suns hit the jump for Game 2 on Thursday, July 8 at 9:00 p.m. ET .

Bettors can keep up with the game and take part in some live betting action by streaming the game on ABC.
