Wager & Watch: March Madness At Buffalo Wild Wings

Posted on March 24, 2022

What’s better than eating wings and wagering on March Madness? Eating wings while watching, wagering and winning, of course.

As the official sports bar of the 2022 NCAA TournamentBuffalo Wild Wings is giving bettors a way to win before they even wager. The sports bar and BetMGM Tennessee have teamed up to give customers a $25 risk-free bet each remaining week of the Big Dance.

BWW & BetMGM stepping up partnership

Since retail sportsbooks aren’t permitted in Tennessee’s online-only sports betting market, sports bars aren’t allowed to provide their own betting kiosks for customer use.

What establishments can do, however, is create an accommodating space for those looking to grab some wings and wager on sporting events. They can also offer special promotions as an incentive for doing so.

For instance, DraftKings TN has partnered with Sports & Social to launch a Nashville sports bar.

And that’s exactly what Buffalo Wild Wings and BetMGM are doing this March Madness.

The two brands officially teamed up in Tennessee back in March 2021 with the approval of BWW’s vendor application license. But until now, there hasn’t been much to show for the partnership.

Sure, bettors have been able to watch a game on the BWW big screen, then pull out their phone and wager as usual. But as far as BetMGM-specific advertising within the restaurant or special promos for customers, there’s been no such thing.

Fortunately, that’s changed now that college basketball postseason has rolled around.

In the words of Buffalo Wild Wings, “Betting is better at the bar.” That’s especially true when you can pair your ice cold beer and March Madness parlay with a juicy March Madness promo.

Next time you’re in BWW, simply pull up your BetMGM TN Sportsbook app, and you’ll find a $25 risk-free bet offer waiting for you.

This offer is valid for each remaining week of the tournament, so you can stop by and cash in on the promo this week, then drop back by for another bet next week.

In addition to this offer, customers can also download the Buffalo Wild Wings app to rack up additional freebies. You can earn points for every meal purchased, then turn around and redeem those points for free food and swag.

Picks & Props offers another way to earn rewards and have fun doing so. Join in on the daily NBA props challenge to earn rewards points or play the lunchtime trivia quiz for a chance to win six free wings.
